I made my own using a computer cooling fan placed in the ducting on my Vortex.
It spins freely in the airflow.
I havent had it in long enough to know if its made a differance or not .
I have to do a full tank run to see if the economy has changed.
cheers Pete

I had to try the hyclone myself to see what they would do. The retailer recommended that I use 2 for even greater effect. He installed them on my 2000 model Landcruiser ute and I left them in for a few weeks doing mostly empty highway running and towing my racecar around.
TOTAL waste of time and money. Didn't effect my fuel economy or power.
I got my money back.

when my car was unlifted, and running lower profile tyres, i could defintely feel the difference, i was saving about 1lt/100km....if i had the choice again, id probably not do it, as the initail cost is too much to justify...its doing f/a now the car is lifted and stuff...

If they do anything at all why don't car manufacturers install them in the first place?

Back when I was driving an unlifted EA powered Subaru, I swore I felt the difference in horsepower when I tried some Nulon octane booster.

It's called the Placebo effect. Think something will work and it will.

Also very few people will admit that something they have paid good money for dosen't really work.

Put a massive GT wing on the back of the wagon if your after power and fuel efficiency. My wagon was so much faster and I swear I was getting an extra 50kms out of a tank of fuel. Got mine of ebay for around $400 definitely worth the money, looks good too!!
