Checked the performance guides on the board and MSD blaster 2 was recommended- what about the MSD BLASTER HIGH VIBRATION COIL

As far as I'm aware it's the same coil but it's filled with resin, in theory, to prevent the coil being damaged due to the shock of offroading, personally I don't think it's necessary, if you inflicted the sort of shock required to damage a coil on your subaru I think the coil would be the least of your worries.

its not so much the shock, but constant vibrations of travelling gravel roads, still if its all solid, the vibrations aren't much dampened inside the unit?
Nevertheless, it is the one i'm using, oportunity on ebay for a good used one from US for <~$60 i think all up.
I think its heavier than the oem oil filled one, and has a nice solid feel to it, and not being oil filled means it can be mounted however you want. Additionally they make that one in US rather than the mexico factory (which has had problems, well when i researched it 2yrs ago)

so for only a little bit extra, prolly worth gettin the high vibration coil ?
I can get it 4 $49.00 US new
I also spotted a blastr 3 and this MSD-8252 Blaster HVC, Works w/ MSD 6 Series Units http://www.vpw.com.au/productgroup.asp? ... GrpID=3296
