Canopy for Brumby

Post by tommo » Fri Jan 05, 2007 7:45 pm

Hey,
I'm wondering if anyone has recently bought or sold a canopy for a Brumby?
I'm selling one of an '89 and wanted to know what people are paying for them new, and how much people get for them secondhand.
The one I've got is fibreglass (not sure if they're ever made of anything else) and has 1 hatch that opens at the back.
Just wanted to have some idea of what they're worth before I put it up for sale.
Cheers,
Tommo.

There was a guy on here a while back trying to sell one for $100 i don't think he ever sold it, even a guy who was giving one away in townsville, same thing, i am on the gold coast and if one wasn't to far for transport and a reasonable price i wouldn't mind one for my car, where abouts are you and what sort of dollars are you interested in

By the way, here are some photos of the above mentioned canopy.
And for the people who're saying they'd be interested if it was a reasonable price, what do you think is a reasonable price?
That's what I'm trying to find out after all.
Cheers,
Tommo

I can tell you a new one from Bluey's Ute World is $2k !

2nd hand one, I've seen them as low as $50 and as high as $300...I think most people who have them can't really sell them - especially if they're located in WA or Qld (which is where most of them seem to come up for sale).

mine was optional on my 92 Brumby and still leaning up in previous owners shed. I will be concerned if he sells it. It didn't add value to the sale - other than where to keep it at home

god they are ugly are they not ??
