Power Windows

Post by Matt » Mon Dec 04, 2006 7:09 pm

i am in the process of fitting up MY power windows to my Brumby. They have fitted reasonibly easily, however in there full down postion they are about 3 inches higher then they should be (i.e 3 inches of window still exposed). How do i fix this? The bar which comes off the original window winder seems longer however it is mounted differently. An suggestions?

Cheers
Matt

Mine seamed fine... It was years ago that i did the conversion but i found it was not a direct bolt in and some stragically placed holes needed to be made to mount everything so it went all the way down and all the way up. I think the only parts used off the brumby door was the windscreen and some bracket that actually bolted accross it which was longer due to the window length.

Im not much help... i guess u need to figure out what exactly is restricting it from coming down further. Could be this bracket your talking about or perhals the motor is mounted too high.

Thanks Mate, i thought i might have just been me. The motor seems to be right (i.e bolts up and looks about the same position as the donor) I will have to have a play unless anyone else can help? And already changed the that bar that runs under the glass.
