A/T reversing lights switch

Hey all

just working out how i'm gonna wire up the reversing lights. Where is the switch - is it on the gear selector in the cockpit or on the transmission. I need this coz the donor car is an A/T whereas i'm using the 5spd DR but using the A/T loom.

on the auto ea82 it comes from the shifter big white plug at the trans tunnel inside the car.Shouldn't be to hard to locate which wire and splice in.also you'll have to connect/loop the inhibtor switch to drive or park or the starter won't turn over,also on the same plug.

Thanks for that postie. After another look at the trans i worked out it must be on the selector. Cheers for the tip off about tripping the inhibitor - I would have been cursing haha "the bastard... it wont even turn over"!!
