What are other people running... brands.. etc etc.
I just physically killed a nulathane one that i had traveled less than 500km on. Seams it didn't like my 4wding method.

im not sure exactly how u can stuff up putting radius rod bushes on.... they have to be the easiest bush to replace.
Im sure they were on correctly. Still no idea how it's possible... i put nulathane ones expecting i would never have to change them again. I was very very wrong.

That’s very rare. As a few people know I ran off the road on last years BYB BBQ. I did some major damage to my car. I ripped out the passenger side radius rod / gear box mount area out. The Nolathane bushes survived with no damage.
Which way around did you install them? There is a right & a wrong way….

They are the exact part number as the black box motor sports site im sure. They are installed with the larger edges against the body mount... and the smaller edges facing into the rod cones and large washer... does that make sence.

Yes it makes sense...
They were installed the wrong way around....
The big end points away from the body mount. The small end fits in the body mount.
I will be updating my web site in the next few weeks with some how to's with photos....

I can't see how that makes sence but your the professional.
The smaller mouning surface you would assume is for the smaller side of the bush... still not sure if i should replace them with another set of Nulathane though.

Try taking them back to where you bought them from. All Nolathane products carry a 2Yr 40,000km warranty.
The reason why they mount small end to body mount is to allow greater movement. It’s hard to explain with out pictures...

I think i said in another post... hard to return a bush that now does not exist... it's physically gone... i doubt they will refund something that is scatted over Mundaring.
Still undecided weather i should replace all of them with new nulathine ones or try get some other brand Polyutharain ones.

DUDE!!!! NO NO NO NO!!! Just blasted out another set of Nolathane radius rod bushes... installed the opposite way around... lasted under 200km. I now have spent over $60 on bushes that are now in a million bits.
These are NO GOOD for hardcore offroading subies.
DON'T FIT NOLATHANE BUSHES FOR YOUR RADIUS ROD BUSHES IF YOU GO OFFROAD!!!
Anyone know of any other options??? Brands?? Should i go back to standard rubber bushes??

I say go for standard rubber ones brand new. Mine are god knows how many years old prior to me owning the car and have withstood ALOT of offroad punishment. So did Subarinos before putting these poxy red ones in.
I will fully back Dave up on this. No joke....he installed them BRAND new only this morning. A few hours later and they were litterally in pieces. These were installed correctly aswell (I cant really see how it makes alot of difference anyway).
I think the extra hardness of these bushes cannot withstand the sudden shocks associated with driving on corrigated tracks and over rocky accents etc.
Definitely not suited for offroad. I think the standard rubber ones have the right amount of "squashiness".

Is it possible that they both came from the same batch? could be that there was some impurities/fault with the casting - i have never had it with bushes though i had it with cv boots a few years ago. Still it could be possible.
Oh and sorry to hear you killed the new 1's as well.
