few self-respecting ricers would spend the time to modify a Daewoo.

Xt6 stuff is good - if it were possible to get your hands on a set. Rare as rocking horse s**t though ! It is quicker and cheaper to go with the crossbred kit - is a snack to put on, and is done without having to search.
I Just did it, and it works for me. I looked into importing XT6 stuff and in the end, unless you want to run ABS ( which only some XT6's have) really isn't worth the hassell in my opinion. I could get a set of XT6 suspension, non ABS landed in Aus for $1600 and still had to source struts. freight is a killer. There are some in New Zealand, if you can track them down, but they are still exe.

could you use forester struts with this kit? to suit a lift and allow for the bigger wheels so they dont rub the struts?

As a last resort you can get wheel adaptpors made,i had a set made front and rear on my L,they were 16mm thick, machined the front hubs and rear drums, was running rs turbo rims with outback size tyres.
No clearance problem and was not lifted.
The only thing is that they also are ILLEGAL.
The wheels looked stock on the car.Sold them to a guy in tassy
