Sticking side strips back on
Sticking side strips back on
hey all.
i have 3 of my side strips on my subie taken off because they where starting to peel/come off.
on my old t wagon there where clips and some sorta of glue that held them on..
on this wagon there are no clips.
i was just wondering what do you guys use to glue them back on?
looks like sikaflex or something??
will that do?
cheers

just be sure to give it time to set, once its set............. it fuckn sets hard! and you dont want it falling half way down ur door :PLightning_Silver_RX wrote:Black sikaflex. Number 221.
best trick is to get 2 blocks to push into the strips and tape the blocks to the door pressing them down...

Yer, as 4Muff said get it right. I have attempted to remove it from doors in the past… trust me you’ll need to basically go back bear metal to get that stuff off
