OOPS did i do that...

Post by coupe » Sat Oct 14, 2006 2:57 pm

I took the Vortex down to meet the W.A crew
I havent had a chance to meet some of them in person so it was great to
place faces with names.
Being a 2wd car i wasnt attending the trip so i bailed just before they headed off.
Well i pulled out of the car park and gunned the Vortex up the road turned and waved at them as i drove past.....and promptly drove up the lane divider,
flattened the bright yellow KEEP LEFT sign then off the median strip and back to the car park to survey the damage....BUGGER..
I put a small dent in my headers and provided the crew with a "what da "
So i suppose thats one way to set a first impression lol.
The wife has already reminded me that this is the reason that i dont drive the Discovery.
All those times i have ragged people who are dumb enough to hit KEEP LEFT signs ..i now know what KARMA the vengeful elephant is..

Cheers Pete

Yeah Daveo i got lucky.
I gave the Tex a through going over and came out with a dented header.
I got worse damage inside with the dash pad and some fittings detonating.
But thats cool i got replacements that i was going to put in anyway.

lol, it did sound pretty bad!

all you need now is a liftkit and chunky tyres on it!...i think your damage would have been less if it was lifted :)
