I was reading through and couldn't see anything to the effect. It had to be done.FujiFan wrote:There was bound to be some bunny fugger on here that was going to post something to that effect

Can you guess what caused this ? A 36mm socket and a MY wagon was involved...

Was only a 40cm length of lead pipe. The bearing had seized up and tightened the nut to the axle. Good brand too, Minimax.

found out that these are a T & E Tools line up
near essential for mucking around with our Subie alloy castings. Also cleaned up mild steel threads.
The one above is not included in the kit sold - is rare M10 1.0mm pitch does brake line fittings and was pretty pricey compared to the kit. $10 ea piece and 15.00 freight. Though, price real tap and dies in this size , not much change from a green note!

rear brake drum adjuster tool
where is our toolmaker ?
the hole for the slider bar is at an approximate angle 120/60 to enable to flip the 'socket' from its 6mm to 8mm square
is an old like 40 or [more likely] 50 year old VW adjuster tool
reckon if you bent an old 1/4" drive long extension and use the female end for the adjuster, may get same function
