The best injector cleaner I have USED is the ProMa stuff. It is sold through a multi level marketing system unfortunately , but it must be good for a Toyota dealership to have their name on it and on their shelves some years back.
This stuff has fixed misses in under 16 km numerous times, cleaned out a volvo in tank filter - going from sputter, sputter to screaming up the highway - to the extent that the guy never went back for his new filter ! He bought a bottle of the stuff instead !! 500ml bottle about 20 bucks but treats 625litres (why do I remember that detail ??)
Mobil used to sell Positive Powerrr, that was good stuff to just soak them in overnight for a ripper clean !!

TA DA! Suby Wan Kenobi, you may have solved my problem, I couldnt get enought flow with my EA82T, it might be possible that the injectors were swapped at conversion??Suby Wan Kenobi wrote:I have used it once before and noticed a difference in fuel consumption (it got better)
Yes the NA injectors will go in the turbo holes but they will flow less
How do I tell the difference between N/A to Turbo injectors or is the resistance measurement different? Is the load resistors different.
I would realy like to get to the bottom of this problem.
Cheers Roger.

I've used a few of the ProMa products and have had good results with them all. Cannot find a distributor up here in Darwin, though.
Anyone on the site sell this stuff? Or know where I can get in contact with a seller?
Cheers.

Suby Wan Kenobi, got a set of "RX turbo" injectors today.
My car is found with 1x red ring one and 3x grey ring one. Hopefully this will be the fix for my problem, thanks for the tip.

Always wondered what that "burnt chicken" smell was around Caboolture now I knowSuby Wan Kenobi wrote:Subaman has experimented with using oven cleaner to solve the problem of a sticky injector, this was done with the injectors out on the bench. The difference was noticed after reinstalling them.

The Subaru "Top End Cleaner" makes a huge difference to the way it runs, mine goes like rocket after it has this put through it on a Service at Brendale Subaru.
