DPF issue fix ??

OK. I have asked question before somewhere in the DPF issues threads.

Gonna ask again, as some of you may be that desperate to resolve the issue you may want to go to some expense to get it right.

I am thinking along the lines of the LPG/Diesel set ups that claim to reduce emissions, improve fuel consumption, blah,blah, blah.
The LPG conversion industry must be on its knees, if not already crippled by the reduced conversion rebate and the hike in the LPG pump price.

I wonder if one of the suffering Foresters owners could wangle a development deal with a system supplier and an installer to see if it fixes the problems. If a miracle occurs could shove a bit of business their way or just send the world into copy cat mode.

No great whacking tank is needed as system does not use it as the primary fuel more as an air 'conditioner' , conditioning the intake air with a bit a propane/butane mix for the claimed improvements.

For making the suggestion - I really don't wanna hear comments like 'already spent 40 k on the thing, not spending any more'

Look at the claims of Diesel Gas conversions cleaner burning, maybe talk to suppliers to see if it has been tried yet on the Forester.

It might just be the answer to a PITA and turn the D Foz into a great car ?
