weird noises in an empty room ....

Glad this happened during broad daylight - could freak people out..took a while to find the cheap arse whiteboard I bought 18 months ago - the whiteboard face is separating from its cardboard backing and giving off a random and loud crackling sound from the cheap arse glue our friends used in China :(

Random thread Steptoe - even by your standards :p One for the record books I reckon.

I gotta say though, it's better than hearing the little gnawing sound of termites...

Cheers

Over X-mas I was home alone one day everything was dead quiet and suddenly there was a loud crackling/rustling noise coming from behind the dishwasher that stopped when I pulled it out. Later that day Dad pulled out a box of saladas to find the tops of every one chewed out in a semi circle; a mouse had moved into the cavity under the cupboard under the sink :-x Pesky bugger was hard to catch, fooled the old snap traps multiple times before he got stuck in a live catch trap.
Will it ever end!?
