Timing Belt Tick

Hey Guys,

I did my timing belt last weekend. My engine is now making a funny ticking noise. Im not sure if its just the valves or the actual timing is out. its a gen3 outback EJ25. any ideas?

that sounds like the injectors to me ( normal), I was expecting to heard either piston slap or a bung tensioner

I say injectors also
Try sticking a lge screw driver on the injectors
and the other end on your ear move it around you will find out where the noise is coming from

I swear by this trick! Problems to observe - keep away from spark plugs and leads incase of electrical shock and any moving parts on the engine
