New forester eh axle stud pattern ....

Post by steptoe » Sun Apr 07, 2013 8:02 am

Pulled up beside what must have been the newest Forester (not keeping up with things:( ) and was amazed at how tiny the five stud PCD of the axle looked on the huge diameter rims. From an unqualified engineering perspective they look like they might give trouble in years to come to some serious off road bush bashing

I think we will see some out there in time...

There will be 2 options for the wheel/tyres:

One is to change the 17 inch rims with a 16 inch and chunkier tyres, like I've done in my '07 XT - brake calipers allowing

Or tyre manufacturers will continue to release more all-terrain tyres in smaller profiles, like the Cooper Zeon or whatever it is called.

Pedro.
