Rear Suspension Crossmember - 2WD v 4WD
Rear Suspension Crossmember - 2WD v 4WD
I'm currently gathering some bits for the 2wd to 4wd conversion.
I seem to recall that the rear crossmember is actually the same between the two, and that it is just the arms that are different? Can anyone confirm this?

G'day Damo,
Yes will be the same as you say, just swap over both trailing arms for the 4wd ones.

Gen 1 Legacy GT 3inch lift and 28's
If you're talking about the rear suspension crossmember that extends across the car under the back seat, they are not the same. The 4wd one has the front diff mount welded onto it.
