1990 Subaru Brumby Turbo How much boost?

I have a Brumby its got a EA81T - A in it and just wondering what the stock boost is set to and how much it can be boosted up to safley.

I think stock boost is 5psi ( or maybe 7?) My ea81t runs 10psi but has the turbo out of an ea82t bolted on.

Yep, my old turbo, VF-1 was putting out about the same as Stinky's, l rebuilt & fitted an 82 & it increased quite a bit or noticeably.

another quick question the EA81 is that the engine out of a WRX or is it out of the earlier Votec Subaru? Also did the brumbys come out stock with a turbo engine, and what is the model of that!

ea81T is an import motor that came out on Us/Jap Brumby(Brat)'s.
