There are two main types of 4wd fuel tank fitted to MY's, short and long. If both the MY and Brumby are of the same type, its a bolt in. If one's short and one's long, you can cut and reweld the bracket, I beleive Subanator has done this.

By short and long I mean the distance from the front of the tank to the rear of the tank, in situ. There's a visible difference between the two.

a bloke that is interested in my old subaru was wondering that...

need to get rid of it and all the bits am sick of the sight of it at my place
