And yet another one........

Post by Outback bloke » Sat Jun 24, 2006 7:05 am

........ to add to the "car yard" we have here now. We picked up a Liberty last night for our youngest daughter. She has just got her Provisional Licence this week and is currently driving around the twin. This has got to stop pretty quickly so we bought the blue one.

We bought it from a Subaru 4wd club member that took the motor for his EJ conversion on his L. He bought one of the EJ->L adapters from me and did the swap in a weekend. The car we bought from him is in pretty good condition except for the big hole in the engine bay.

It is a series one, gen one. The model with the white above the back lights, not the red. FWD at the moment but going to be awd. We are going to just put it back on the road for her to start with and then hunt down another dual range and bits and pieces to convert it.

Pics later, although it is not much to look at yet.

She is not that bad, only lost one point out of a possible nine in her test.
Only problem is I havn't seen my car since Thursday. I have now been down graded to Bretts wagon. Love the height, just not the length.
