Of the top of my head, I think (don't quote me) Dave aka Subarino did something similar in Hatchie. Hatchie's doors are the same as Brumby doors.
BTW.. try making your phone a 'hot spot' and then WIFI your computer to it
I've done it with my notebook and HTC phone.. works a treat

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

ta , was thinking bluetooth type thing must be able to choof it off to something bigger - more stuff to learn, add to shopping list , oh well
Only wrecker has one reg inside a bent and poor access door, making enquiries in US. New are $220 ex Japan if still avail there. Gees, if anyone deserves a new Brumby window winder I am one of them. The cranks shaft goes right through to the back and still turns, the little drive cog has not stripped but some internal spline between little crank shaft and little drive cog all neatly inside a riveted assy.
Was starting to feel bad, thought was gonna need some TLC, then it happened. Had to make some 20mm access holes in the inner skins to undo window 10mm bolt heads. Now a lump of wall stud holds window up and shut

Use a standard MY regulator. This is what I did with Sunnie the brumby's electric window conversion - BUT: I had to move the actuator gear on the arm that makes the window go down all the way, it was about 2 or 3 inches short of being all the way down
You could try an L series regulator - you never know your luck!
Cheers

Sorted, but noted the mounting holes between two models L and MY are great and different recess of actual regulator differ as well. Been using die cast chromed L Series regulators for many years, until now. Really much same as MY dimension wise. Got a near new reg based on its wear marks, a pedal set to set up an L series cable for future conversion and switch pod from a twin light targa Brumby with bonus intermittent wiper switch - all for thirty bucks worth of guard dog food
Picture steppy in all black, ski mask full moon light jumpin' the railway fence, torch and tools in bag, friggin' hungry dog - thirty bucks worth !! ?
