Don't overlook your fuel filter!
My recent Weber upgrade on the Brumby was a great success, until out of the blue it developed a terrible miss at around 100kph. Tried everything, focusing on the carby to no avail. I then remembered the Weber brochure supplied with the carby, saying BE SURE TO RENEW YOUR PETROL FILTER. well i didn't, but went out and bought one. No miss, ran beautifully. Just shows if we ignore the little things, it can create real drama. On further reading they advised that your electrical system be spot on. Just changed, leads, coil, cap and rotor. A great little makeover for the girl turning 30 next year.

Venom also did an upgrade on his ignition system with some kit from the states, he was very happy with it and got rid of his dizzy shaft slop as it was replaced with a new electronic unit I believe.
Do a search if you want to know more, I can't remember what it was called but it will be in his build thread on one of his vehicles - again, I can't remember if it was the wagon or the coupe, but it was one of those
Cheers
Bennie
