L series alarm system and fitment

Can anyone recommend an alarm system to go into an L series.
Also, when installing an alarm, I would imagine breaking into the circuits for the electric fuel pump and the run on solenoid on the carby would te the go.
I think these may be off the same circuit though so is there a better place to apply an alarm

As there are several types available - ( I've used python / DAE ) it's best to do a search for them on-line & hopefully it will help to sort out your best option.

Budget wise, you'd be starting with cheaper kits about the $50 mark - then ranging up to top of the line stuff ( with satelite tracking etc ) ... $1,000 +

It mostly depends on whether you are planing to do it yourself, or have someone install it for you ...

Doing it yourself is obviously cheaper, but if you don't know what you doing it can cause headache's later on ...

So set youself a budget and determine your best option, someone on here 'may be' able to help with the install - Check here first if you chose that route ...

As a 3 point immobiliser, you are better off interrupting the ignition primary circuit, the starter circuit and fuel pump as the 3rd option.

The first 2 will give no crank AND no start.

Thanks for the info, I intend to fit things myself as with time I can trace wiring no issues.
I will do some more net searching as suggested.
I think 2 + sources of disconnection such as fuel pump and coil so I will see how I go

I've used the ADR'd shadow immobiliser without the add-on alarm side of things and I've been very happy with the results.

Don't go with one that has coloured wiring, all black/same colour wiring is the go
