AWD gearbox in Brumby

Post by guyph_01 » Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:17 pm

Hi Guys,

Fitted power steering to a ej22 AWD brumby on the weekend and i took some pics of how the gearbox mount and tail shaft support was made. I thought of it being simple and would be a good record to have and maybe be helpful to fellow members.

This is the gearbox support. Basically it is a plate that has been welded to the std brumby crossmember. Simple but effective.

And this is a pic of the tail shaft support

The tail shaft is a two piece but im not sure if its a L series, Lib auto, manual a combination or custom.
Toonga or RSR555 might be able to advise what fits..

Might be useful to Rumbl1n for your conversion:)
