EA82T conversion Q's

Post by wrx_nut » Sat Jun 17, 2006 8:19 pm

Ive recently converted my L-series wagon to and EA82T
the motor is in and just got a few odd questions here and there to ask about what goes where.... here goes.....

pressure switches on drivers side strut tower join to the loom but where do the vaccume/boost lines go to? inlet manifold? turbo intake?

throttle cable reaches but when peddal is fully off intake is 1/4 open... just make a new bracket ? need about an inch more length...?

can anyone else that has done this conversion point me in the right directions?

EDIT: also forgot to mention....think i have to get a new aircon compressor because on my current one the outlets are at the back of the pump, this is ok but it gets in the way of the fuel lines ect..... along with that i would probably need the bracket to suit.....

cheers

Intake manifold - after the throttle butterfly - the switches measure actual boost reaching the engine.

The mpfi throttle cable is longer. I think most people get the proper cable and use it.
