MY Wagon Rear Bumper on a Brumby

Anyone fitted one up.
I have eyeballed the one I have and recon it will fit but will it realy fit.

I was going to fit a frot Brumby to the rear ofmine but Paul (RSR 555) said that there is one bumper that virtually bolts straight up - I think he said MY but not 100% sure.

I put a coupe one on to eyeball it. Sort of fits but the top edge of the bumper fouls on the tailgate when you try to open it. I can take another detailed look tomorrow and get some photos if you want. The wagon bumper has a lowered recess in it yeh?

Does NOT fit. The only options are: USDM bumper (which doesn't fit the local plate size), custom bumper, or Ag-Quip.

I personally have fitted one from a 1982 sportswagon (old chrome type) and it bolted straight up without any mods to the Gen2 Brumby. The only issue was the number plate position and light. The Gen2 was availabe from the dealer with a rear bar that came complete with a step (where the number plate is) but I'm guessing these would be very rare to fine these days.

There is 2 blanking plates on either side of the vehicle, below the tailgate that allow the bumper support to go through and attach to the monoque chassis.

I've never seen that model brumby however..

Gen 2 Brumby is just a Brumby as we know it.

Gen 1 Brumby is a mid 70's abomination that is pig ugly and only blind people or people with no aesthetic tastes would ever own - oh and Paul too

nah man I mean the gen2 with the rear bar that is different to normal.

It is more an ag quip extra , I have one on my 92 non ag quip - just got the lairy stuff on the sides
