Wanted EJ alternator sydney

Urgently need EJ alternator for a MY96 Lib. Penrith. Happy to pick up. Even borrow one. The wife's daily drive. Currently stranded at local shops

Hmmm scrap this for now. Wife had to get NRMA to jump start and they said it was alt.

I gets home. 12.45v stationary. 14.20v running. Starts easy and alarm now works fine.

Something must be playing up. Anyway this wanted is on hold for the moment.

OK, while it is on hold, and there is No Real Mechanics Available again, call an auto electrician , um I mean , how does the part number compare in my signature with the wifes alt ?

You dont have an Alt listed in your sig. Though your EJ16 starter motor is one very close to my early EJ22 one. I was told the early EJ (before the 2.5) all used the same starter motor. Seems thats either incorrect or they all work but have slightly different model numbers.
