No its spacing the drive train from the body itself.
If I had 2" full body and 2" strut (4" total lift) then cv's would be fine and I would have enough clearance :twisted: Its still taking thought in what I want to do lift wise.

digging up an old thread but does anyone have specifics on what hilux boots the are? i'm not overly keen on paying 200 for someone to change my cv boots but i'm sick of ripping the boots and am pretty keen to give them a shot if i can work out what i need to order.

Cheap cv boots don't last, they are false economy. I keep good quality ones ones on the shelf if you need them.

they are not hilux boots. just ask allan's cv joint and they will get you the right ones. My std boots split in 2 weeks time. its now been over 3 months and they still look like new with no stress marks.
