EA82 Oil Filler Caps .
I lost one recently after an oil change and got around with a folded rag/sandwich bag/cable ties for a couple of days . These critters don't "idle" too well without one ...
Just for the record CPC make them and their part number is "OC93" .

Thanks discopotato03.. very handy info. They should be a skicky thread with all this useful info.

it is the mpfi that makes the difference, think norm... carby EA82 not so affected. Remember the BS that went around when efi Falcons came out, won't run with fuel cap off etc.
S'funny, I have found oil caps - 1 sitting on the block of my Vort and another deep down on a Brumby. Months after when I needed a cap to borrow, the old bastard wouldn't even lend me his spare I found! He lost my custom after that too
.
Have also lost a few due to excessive blowby - a squash ball did better there than it did to fix a sore back !

The CPC cap fits very well and the seal pulls up pretty tight as well .
I also had issues with the original being a little loose but packed it up with a flat rubber washer out of who knows what .
The cap owes me a whole $9 and the only downside is it looks a little flash for a conservative old marm .
It fits works and idles .
