Engine Mount Wedges

Hi ppls

I have made up a bunch of engine mount wedges that suit the EJ to early crossmembers (EAs). They are $20 each. PM if you would like some for your conversion.

Edit: For those wishing to use these wedges, I find the aftermarket engine mounts have a longer thread which allows for more grip. Others (including myself) have used the standard mounts with success but this is IMO a better option.

The aftermarket part number is MT8520 and are available from Veale Auto Parts (and I'm sure other places) at a cost of around $65ea.

Yep.. a CNC 130 machine.. she's old school but works a treat.

CNC aint old school
we still use manual gear and are turning out some of the best small scale stuff in south aus, reason being we do small stuff the big mobs with CNC here do large production runs and wont touch a 20 hour job or one off

Sorry I just meant that this machine is old and only has 3 axis and not the modern 5 which would be awesome.

yeah ive been reading up on some people building small ones, a mate is gonna try and make one using a dremil and an old printer......

really just for cutting not milling though
