Post by Brumby Kid » Sun Oct 30, 2011 7:58 pm

Right, i have found an 84 sportswagon that i can get parts off of, for my Brumby. I now have some questions with much needed answers.
Is it an MY?
Will any parts fit it?
If so what may i want?
Im guessing it the answer is.

Also how much would you pay for an Ea81 with a weber off a 2lt cortina (recon) With adapter plate.
The engine isnt working (leaking fluid).

Where'd you find this parts wagon then? If you're buying the car I'd be keen for any parts you don't want ;)

Sports wagon or touring wagon?? Touring wagon has the bump in the roof and will have power steering electric windows and air conditioning. It should also have the digi dash (throw it away and go with the 6 guage analogue unit).

If it's a standard wagon that's got the sports wagon stickers it'll probably just have a wrap over roo bar thing, sunnies and the stickers, other than that it'll pretty much be a stock wagon.

Cheers

If it's a Sportswagon then it will have the same dash as your Brumby.. only the Touringwagon (highroof) model came with the long dash type (81-82 had the anologue and 83-84 had the digital dash) but most other parts will swap over. Just put them side-by-side and you'll see it.

Best to ask what he wants for the whole car.. might find it cheaper to buy it grab the bits you want and sell the others off. You might even make some extra dosh.. just ask Guyph
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
