Very vauge chance I might have to leave Australia in Feb 2012, so...
Keep my 93 L Series in mind if you know someone who wants an L Series.
I'd rather not be surprised and unprepared to sell less than 1 month of my visa expiry.
A lot of members here like my L Series and it's in pretty good nick.
It was the quietest L Series I found when I bought it,
and it came with air-con, power steering and a 2" lift on 185/70R-14's.
I've added things like:
- Darkest legal tint, all-around with lifetime warranty
- immobilizer with keyless entry
- dash mat, to keep it from UV induced cracking
- LED interior dome light; 1.5 W and its actually much brighter than the factory 3W incandescent
- fender flares on all four corners so tyres on 14" Sunraysia rims stay street legal
- Touring Wagon-style struts so the rear lift gate opens about 3-5cm higher than stock
- radiator/heater core flush and new thermostat
- new ignition leads
- comfy beaded seat cushions to both front seats
Soon I will be replacing the front wheel bearings (recommended by RSR 555) adding new shockies on all 4 corners, get a 3" lift put in from RSR 555, new rotor cap, distributor button, air cleaner, perhaps a carby rebuild. I'm doing all that because I'm expecting to be able to stay in Oz, but again, I might not be, hence this thread.

But it's so, COLD!
Even in SW WA,
I'm usually getting cold sometime between 5-8pm, when it isn't summer.
That cliche "...At least it isn't hot..." doesn't work for me.
Last weekend I was up in Perth visiting RSR 555.
Our first blast of spring heat and Perth recorded 35.5 C with 13% humidity @ 1pm.
I drove without air-con and just the front windows cracked a bit.
I was happy as a pig in mud.
I have given up a lot just to have contentment most of the time, which I have here
as Canadian weather usually makes me feel grumpy or worse, and I waited over 20 years to escape it.

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
