More than just to sto overflow on road, it recycles it and usually keeps radiator as full as it can be - the Brumby MY must never be real full given the bottom of the neck is below top core or two !

How would you make it work as an expansion tank so it auto fills itself? Or would this do it?

Huh? Ok buy a recovery style rad cap, can do (i think)
What do you mean about your end? rad end?
I would run a pipe from the overflow pipe in the rad into the tank, and i think what your saying is the pipe in the expansion tank needs to be in water?
Am i right?

Bahaha, they are great!
So is the coke, good for washing and polishing chrome with a bit of steel wool (you can actually clean chrome just with steel wool!)

depends on the bottle. L SRies is a bottomfeeder, my VL is top mount lid with a straw to suck or supply to the bottom.

spike wrote:ive done work there, yes ive heard all the crap about them. the boss isnt a buisness man by all accounts, a friend of mine phoned him looking for a brumby rear gate and got told to 'piss off' whether this was artistic licence is quite possible but also its likely thats exactly what paul said.
The thing is people phone up, even when i was there, basically say what parts they want and what theyre going to pay. Say an LSD and rear disks for 350 all up and wonder why they get told to go away, you dont go to maccas and say how much you will pay.
if you have the time theyre good to get to know, if you want parts and money is no object theyre good to see, if you havent got the time or money its not worth seeing them
And what if you're quoted for a job, you don't mind paying for said job... The work never actually takes place, instead a band aid method is used ( just tighten the bolts up even more ) and that person still happily takes your folding stuff.

Yep I've had work done by him, and Yes he ripped me off.. That's not good business sense.

I will continue to bag there work ethics at any chance I get, I was a new customer and was spending a lot of money in his yard, but he chose to get GREEDY.... Wrong move I think....

And if Paul is on this site, and you want me to stop.. Pay me the cash you owe me!

i understand your anger brumby 91, and i must say there are likely to be reasons for what happened. Eg it was sent out the back on a rainy day and the person doing the work didnt want to waste his time but didnt tell paul. whatever it is/was doesnt really matter to me, i dont work there.

what does worry me is the fact that anyone who goes to him and says somthing about being on the forum is likely to get higher prices due to people like you.

look he raises his prices anyway, because he knows he has the monopoly on parts in Adelaide, and "People like ME" wouldn't be an issue if he practiced proper business tactics from the get go!

It's the same old saying " if you have a problem tell me, if we've done a good job tell others"

In this case I did tell him ( tried to talk to him about it anyway) and he still didn't give a crap, never even offered me a "Part Refund" ( even after the fact he damn well knew the job hadn't been done) , so that is why I WILL tell everyone, so new members like myself don't get caught out, and loose their hard earned money!

And just for the Record Spike.. Never insinuated you had anything to do with it mate, sorry you felt that, my beef is with them.
