Hi guys,
Are there any 14 inch all terrain tyres available in Perth that will fit my 1990 L series without a lift kit? Not really interested in mud terrain tyres. I think I have the speedy desert rats that don't quite fit under the wheel arch. Most of my off roading will be on sand/rock on beach tracks down south and happy to do a bit of cutting/bending of body work to fit them if absolutely neccessary.

I have a 93 L Series with 185/70R-14 tyres with a 2 inch lift and doing sand driving at Preston Beach,
I ended up smacking a piece of driftwood off the skid plate. Was a bit scary as I didn't see it.
"Dan" didn't hit it though, and his L Series has a 3 inch lift and 195/70R-14 tyres, so 1.3" taller ride height.
Since you want to use it for sand driving in SW WA,
I recommend at least a 2 inch lift to go with your all-terrains.
My tyres are a highway style tread pattern, and the front's nearly balding,
yet I don't have trouble getting going in sand usually.
