im a subaru magnet

Post by vidler » Fri May 19, 2006 8:31 pm

yep... lately ive been taking my surf ski to work then heading straight down the beach for a paddel/surf to work off the weight i had gained since i stopped a while ago...

nearly every time i go, when i return to my car, there is another suby parked next to it... ive had L series and MY's mostly. Had a chat to one young bloke today who was parked nearby with a 2" lifted L... directed him to have a look at this site and possibly come to lancelin with us...

thats what i love about our cars, they turn heads, they're not as big and ugly as cruisers etc, and there is always interest from other people...

Its true, blokes usually have a sly smile then nudge their mate and point.
People respect the anti hummer thing we have going on.

It is really the most 'politically defendable' 4wd you can drive if you have any worries about the earth and what we are doing to it.

Less weight, less power required to push it, less impact.
(and no part worth more than a grand   )
