EA82T v EA82 comp ratios diff in head or piston

Post by steptoe » Wed May 17, 2006 2:19 pm

There has to be a comp ratio difference between the two engines anyone know the ratios and whether it is in the head or the piston to get the change ? thanks

my thoughts are if in the piston and I wanna raise compression with lpg to reduce turbo lag use either normal pistons or normal block and retain heads - in the future maybe !!

Just for another confirmation it is in the pistons, theres a hollowed out section. Comp ratio of the turbs is 7.7:1
