186Kw in the new money.

I'm using a high flowed TD04 because
I just want something very responsive
and great for the street.

Plus I don't want to break anything!
If I build another EJ, it will be for someone else!

More pics to follow :)

going in the car tomorrow morning and then
down to coolangatta for a run in!

take it up in the hills for running in - the best thing you can do is put it under load, accelarate up and down the rev range and give it the occassional full on squirt to 5500-6000 rpm. Don't be afraid to let it boost up.

DO NOT baby it or sit on a constant speed/rev for more than a few seconds.

I'd take it around the neighbourhood first for about 50kms - change the oil - go for a blast up in the hills for 100-200kms and change the oil again - then drive it normally for and other couple of hundred and you will have one properly run in, healthy motor.

That is the plan. It will have a vigorous life :)

I probably won't get out of 3rd gear once I get going.

OMFG i hate cars.

got it all together today and bam... the injector seals are stuffed and leak into the cylinders.

now i need to get some ASAP!

is subaru the best place to get them or can i get them from other parts companies?

I think H-top blew this motor up Paul? He cleared a lot of subaru stuff out. I went down to Brisbane and got an ej20G closed block long motor off him that he was offloading.
1989 Subaru Brumby - EA82T 5speed box. 4wheel disc, electric Windows plus other goodies.
Future Plans- Seat upgrade and Possible EJ20T implant.

Yeah, ended up having an injector hold
open 400km down the track and hydrolocking
cylinder 4 :(

it's all gone now.

She ran very strong and pushed her very hard.

Was just cruising at 100 when she just went boom.
