should these hoses be plugged in

Post by LIFTED » Sun Aug 21, 2011 4:35 pm

On my 92 Liberty I have these 2 hoses from the ? transmission not plugging in to anything (pic1), I've had a look at my 97 Outback and they plug into a metal bracket (pic2) Just wondered what do they do and should they be plugged into one of these brackets? as there is no bracket on the Liberty.

Mainbreak they are breather hoses, if you want to find one of those metal plates to plug them into (like the outback) to make it look neater go for it, but make sure the ends are left open as they are breather hoses:)

Ah ha I didn't think that plate really did any thing as they were just stuck over it and not sealed. Thanks.;)
