Making a lift kit
Hey all,
I have been wanting a lift kit for ages now but haven't had the tools to make it myself where I live, I have now been given the opportunity to make one but can't find very clear pictures searching on google for what they look like.
I was wondering if anyone, possibly those who have made their own could post up some pics of what the lift mounting and gear extension stuff looks like please.
Cheers in advance,
Lincoln

I have made half an L series 2" kit.
I used 50mm x 50mm x 3mm RHS box section with crush tubes welded in.
And end caps on the end

For the gearbox/radius rod mounts, I used 50mm solid bar, cut to 50mm long with a 12mm hole in the centre. There were 6 of these.
Thats as far as I got

No, the bottom should be the same distance from the engine because the struts angle out slightly, hence the offsetSo the bottom is further away from the engine?

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
