Gen1 vs Gen 2 Liberty

Post by LIFTED » Wed Jul 20, 2011 1:05 pm

Hi Guys

I've been patiently looking around for a Liberty wagon I'm going to see a 93 one tomorrow from a Euro backpacker but it has queensland rego, after reading 2nd hand yanks threads I'm under the impression I will have to take it over the pits to get the rego changed to WA rego if I buy it ? is this correct?

Also my main question is am I better of with a Gen 2? is there much difference between the models? (power, fuel economy, parts, reliability, etc)
I think the Gen 2 came out in 95?

Ah well, it was in fair condition but I would have had to take it over the pits and it was a mushy brown colour I wasn't to keen on.
In the meantime Toonga had contacted me about a 92 wagon he was thinking of selling and I'm now buying his one!
