As far as I know, these gearboxes are awd AND dual range.
They have a vacuum operated centre diff lock.

Somebody correct me ?

Full Time 4WD (AWD) boxes in L Series are Single Range or Dual Range. They Dual Range has poor low range (1.196:1 as opposed to 1.592:1 in normal L Series Dual range). Andrew is right - the diff lock is vacuum operated.

An imported box can still be a part time standard or turbo box.

LOL Daza - fishing for a bite? :D
