And yes he used an SC14, apparently the SC12's are simply too small.
Can't see one costing over $600, I've seen them about going for as little as $350-$400. Toyota wreckers and importers being the most likely places for stock, but they are in demand so they disappear quick.

Either that or an Eaton M45 from a Mercedes or GM V6.
They are around $600 on ebay in as new conditon.
Lots of fabrication regardless of what pump you use.
Search reddevil on USMB and the NASOIC boards, he has an EJ22 with an Eaton on it.

EJ22 Dual range AWD lifted, widened and much happier now thanks very much.
1991 L Series wagon, white and perfectly normal apart from the ticking, no I think that is normal.
