WRX seats in an L Series

Post by apg39 » Sun May 15, 2011 3:00 pm

Done a quick search but couldn't find info...only people saying it can be done with mods.

What sort of modifying needs to be done? I imagine the rails but what?

I have a set from my old car & contemplating installing them...or turn them into office chairs.
Cheers,
Andrew

They will be exactly the same as installing Liberty or Impreza seats. A search for these should give you a better start

I think the amount of mods also differ with the year the seat were from. I have some gc8 sti seats and they just needed holes drilled like alex to allow the L rails to bolt on. but i also have Bug eye and they will need totally different mods similar to what Dann has done. My bro has some 05RX bucket seats in his RS altho they bolt in the RS would nee different mods as the rails are a different design.

I think the basic way to mod them is the same, you just have to have everything in front of you, some brains and some mod skills:)
Dann thread is a good start:p

has anyone actually got a photo of a brumby with WRX seats? I know it's been done, but as yet, I haven't seen a photo
