thieve and torch is what the 'kers do here too
saves having to wear gloves, no danger in leave fingerprints or DNA behind to be collected, and if the vehicle was insured saves the owner getting it back just short of detectable fanging that may shorten its life down the track. The electronic media has reduced this big world somewhat so that crime style appears to be same world wide.

Smacktards is a phrase contributed here sometime ago by none other than Sven !
Bumps and scrapes in the carpark I can handle, it is the deliberate destruction that gets me - need not matter if it is a write off or a coin down the side, it is a lowlife act that gets my blood boiling.

I seriously considered a CCTV setup at my old place after i was reversed into twice in a month, once with no notice/admission and just matching paint marks and tell tale parking spot to indicate guilt. Poloce said f-all you can do if no one sees it or admits guilt.
revenge acts considered included:
creating a similar dint with a good hard boot to the door,
keying bonnet, all doors, all panels, boot, roof etc,
a balloon full of brake fluid thrown at the car,
super glue in all the locks (including the shop)
and lastly a combination of all the above.
But i got a second hand door for $50 so i decided it wasn't worth the risk.

I'm guessing you've been accident free since then? I hope it continues without damage and that I haven't jinxed you now...
Cheers

What's going into my cars very soon;
Proximity detector on alarm with 360 degree camera inside vehicle. Then notice on window that video surveillance is uploaded to online account. If they still go ahead and do something, I know who to visit...
There will NOT be any police involvement, as I don't wish to be prosecuted for my education and rehab methods.

No its not - your car just has to be somewhere... All it take for body damage is someone else's mistake when reversing or manoeuvring in a carpark/street etc. I'm pretty sure this is how it happened to Venom - twice! Just after getting his new pride and joy back home!ScubyRoo wrote:Bit hard to have an accident when you don't have a license eh Venom...

It is unreal to see so many people, have the problem of other people doing damage to there cars. weather it be jealousy due to them not having as nice of a car , revenge for something you havent done , but they think you did, or what ever reason they come up with , in there head. To make someone scale a 6 foot fence, walk 20 feet with a chance of running into one of 4 dogs, key a car, then do it all again to get back out of the yard.
As sven 2 wrote a couple of posts back , accidental damage can be lived with. It will still give you the shits , the fact it happened , but can be lived with. The deliberate destruction is the one i cant handle. It is the type of damage that makes you wont to hunt people down .
What ever happened to respecting other peoples stuff, keeping your hands to your self , treat other peoples stuff , as you would wont other people to treat your stuff. That was how i was raised. Just goes to show , the world is going to the dogs.
