True the present IRS setup isn't going to carry much weight and another problem would be the monocoque body of the present Subaru line up. I'm sure if the ask Toyota nicely the could steal the Prado or Hilux ladder chassis and the Mitsubushi rear IRS from the Pajero then make a diesel long cab version of the ForesterEl_Freddo wrote:
A subi will never carry a huge payload due to the IRS setup, but that seems to be the go with most utes these days other than the "tradies" advertised ute...
