Dr. Jono looks in and ...

YES....I WAS RIGHT

Good to hear Robbo

78Robbo - you have no idea how much money and time I spent chasing that fuel supply problem so soon after buying my beast. Stumped me mechanic mate who just watched with amusement at my anger as I got the old fire extinguisher pumped up at the servo to 90 psi and took it home to give the fuel l ine what for

It would always strike in the cool of the night just when you wanna get to bed. Could only drive down hills when I really needed to go up...and the only time it would do it during the day made me rather late for work and all I could smell for that shift was phucin' petrol ! after changing the pump and limping to work !!

I wonder if that means Brumbys can run on water ??

:D Absolute legends!!!!!
I bought a 91 L series wagon just before Christmas with a cooked donk, but everything else in top nick. Dropped a low km import in it and have that poxy surging problem same as you guys!!! I was half way through doing all the usual crap and found your thread. Heaps of crap in the fuel line between the pump and the tank.
Worked good for about 2 days. Now I gotta find out how to get the crap out of the tank so ot doesn't keep blockin up?
