In need of Favour... anybody have a spare EA82 ECU lying around?

Post by Gannon » Thu Feb 10, 2011 5:53 pm

As the title states, im wondering if anybody has a spare ECU from an EA82 that they could either scan, take a photos with measurements or even simply give dimensions between the mounting points?

Im modifying the mounting lugs on the RS ECU to fit the mounting bolts under the steering column.

OK, pulled it out and, cannot scan a black ecu , well I can but whole background comes out in matching...you guessed it ...black! Have traced it and scanned that with some dimensions to help with scale and it has been sent to your exemail.com.au address

Hope it helps

Essentially the tab on its own , its centre is 100mm from the edge of the box end with no plugs. The centres of tab holes, all three are 15mm outside the box bodyline.

the two tabs on other end are 25mm from same edge to centre, the other tab is 150mm from that edge to its centre.

The centres of single tab to centres of two tabs are about 204,205mm apart if looking at them squarely like a house plan, not directly.

Box is about 174mm square, not allowing for coolong fins in bakelite?

32 mm thick

Directly, like a triangle I get 210mm from single to one, and about 218, 219 from single tab centre to the other tab centre.

Now, show my crappy sketch up, lets see you draw that up like your fancy electrical plans. If I had your software I would still need a leson or two :)
