who has a 98 - 03 2.5 liberty / outback?

I was wondering if someone could please do a measurement on their top hose, center to center on the outlets, along the straight part, as pictured here:

Trying to find a hose to retro fit something else...

...thanks frog, is that the 2.5L with the 'over bent' 90deg bend on one end? any chance of someone posting a photo with a tape sitting next to it?

Exactly as represented in your pic one end is yeah "over 90 degrees"
300 mm was to your red lines and yep 2.5
I can post a pic tomorrow
