Post by D3V1L » Wed Feb 02, 2011 1:27 pm

My thoughts are with the guys in qld who are about to face the storm.

i hope you all that are affected get through without too much damage or such, i been watching the storm pretty closely on the net and stuff, and the general consensus is that its gonna be a lot of deaths and a lot of damage.

my thoughts are with you guys

Yep to everyone who lives up there, I'm really hoping you all do alright. As I watch the news about Yasi I can't help thinking/hoping it won't be as bad as they say it's going to be.
Will it ever end!?

Yepoon will be fine, the cyclone is much further north.

My parents are bunkered down in the basement of their house in hamilton island. At one stage it looked like they were going to really cop it but thankfully (for us) the storm swung west again.

It is sort of like waiting for something you know you are gonna get but don't deserve and can't do much about the result. What do you do? Bunker down in the bunker built into your house? CRIPES, I'd be packing me duds. Flip side - good to see you have a sense of humour as it comes in. How many of our memebrs or their families look to be directly affected by this mother? Insurance companies rule out cyclonic winds like flood damage?
