Of course I am not 'live-ing' the wires up just earthing the seat chassis so I can weld the new brackets to the runners.

IMO it should be OK - as I am not doing any more than if the seats were fixed in a car that I could be welding on (battery disconnected of course)

Can anyone confirm this please.
Ta !
I can confirm that as long as you don't weld right next to the canister then you'll be fine. I would make sure the plug is never in any way going to touch a grounding point whilst welding. Would be a great video but not nice for the end result to the seat :???:

Anyone seen the Citroen Saxo VTR Alloys ?? will they fit or has anyone done this if so how ? Adaptor plate. - They are neat looking wheels and there are Huggings of them here to buy - I think they would look great ! See attached image. PCD i am advised is 108 mm : (
I'm really thinking a Hot Pink body paint and a lovey shade of Violet on the rims would just be the thing
1111giles wrote:Yellow....... yes Yellow! NOT GOLDEN YELLOW PLANT COLOUR - Subaru had a straight yellow colour on the Imps here they looked good cause they were different. Currently Yellow is a Buzz colour in the UK with some nice shades of it about so lots to chose from. I recon a brumby would look cool with the off set of Black trims chrome strips and silver alloys.
What do you guys think ? :D (what have I started:rolleyes:)
Yellow is so gay.. not like hot pink and violet ;)

Maybe take some pics of the car and someone could photoshop it in lots of different colours for ya?

Has this post drifted from safety with explosive seats to Brumby paint colours?

Consider the chrome already on beast. Darker colours always enhance chrome features. Then there is the black in the bumpers and pillar treatment, can look a bit off IMO with some darker colours say BRG. Or go the dechrome, debadge and body colour bumpers look in a colour of the daughters choice :)

No Jonno.. the first post was about both.. paint on rims mainly more so than the car :)

Kinda like Brett's (Outback Bloke) old Liberty wagon but a bit darker.. looks nice.. if I can find a car painted with it, I'll post it up.
Damn.. did anyone notice there is actually a brumby in this pic :o:o:o

That's as close as dammit is to swearing :) the car/colour I was thinking is on the Nissan 350Z

I'm 99.99% no one has tried it yet.. I think that with stealth black rims would look HOT !!

Black rims seem to be the thing atm. Still to be convinced (about black rims) tho - but who knows:D
Yes I know the Nissan 350Z colour ...... that would be good on a Brumby me thinks ! (gotta be better than the beige it currently is !) Black would work with the nissan colour - but so would silver as I am thinking alloys for it rather than the Brumby steel painted jobbies.

Think we had Foresters here in a orange / metallic / reddish colour I remember the Mrs commenting she liked it - WHAT ! she said she liked 'somthing' OMG ! picks self up from floor ! That must have been many years ago ! hehehe.

What colour is that 500 bhp Brumby on You tube that stokes the Ducati then ?

Is this Subaru sedona red pearl ?? may look good with gray lower below door black trim ??

or these 2??

Part Yellow part camoflage thats very wacky !
Thats a like a golden yellow. In the UK I think it would be Golden yellow 08 E 51 - we used it to paint concrete mixers.
Not quite what I had in mind.

Do like the idea of Burnt Met. Orange.
WR Blue & Cream Yellow and Burnt met Orange (but not all together) are now all on the list.

Anyone any good at photo chop ? (Because I am am no good at it:()

I like the Alloys on there too. He even mentions spacers, Humm must ask for images of them fitted and details of where to get these from. Wonder if they are the same as T'subaru sent me details of. ?

Thanks for the info link Frog !:D

Giles I'm adequate at photoshop, if you want a re-coloured car I would need a photo against a black background. As it makes it way easier to change the colour.

A simple demo of what I mean.
