Basically I had a standard brumby for about a year and was preparing for the typical ej22 swap. Then I bought D3V1L (Dave's) brumby with an ej20t.

He wasn't wrong when he said there was still a lot to be done..some things a little concerning (pieces of wood, pins missing loose bolts etc) haha but working my way through it

Currently the car is running a GC8 gearbox and rear diff.
The front end seems to have parts swapped from a wrx. There are 4pots with ventilated disks on the front (hence 5 stud rims).
The issue for me is that there is no handbrake. The car is running standard brumby drum brakes on the back that has been re-drilled to 5 stud.
I looked into adapting wrx rear brakes with the inner handbrake drums but that quickly faded away as I had a look at how different the set up was.
I understand many people upgrade to single pot rear brakes from an old turbo car like a vortex..
Given anyone's previous experience, what would be the best way to go?
I am heading towards single pot rear brakes with a hydraulic handbrake maybe.
Any questions or comments?
Cheers, Marcus
